At MagoStays, each property is managed by individual property owners who choose a cancellation policy that best suits their requirements. As a result, cancellation terms may vary from one property to another. To ensure clarity and consistency, all properties on MagoStays adhere to one of four standard cancellation policy types: Flexible, Moderate, Firm, or Strict. A brief overview of each is provided below.
Flexible, Moderate, Firm & Strict.
Flexible: If you cancel your booking
3 days before the stay, you’ll get 50% refund.
More than 3 days before the stay, you’ll get 100% refund.
Moderate: If you cancel your booking
1 day before the stay, you’ll get 0% refund.
Less than 7 days before the stay, you’ll get 50% refund.
More than 7 days before the stay, you’ll get 100% refund.
Firm: If you cancel your booking
Less than 7 days before the stay, you’ll get 0% refund.
Less than 14 days before the stay, you’ll get 50% refund.
More than 14 days before the stay, you’ll get 100% refund.
Strict: If you cancel your booking
Less than 7 days before the stay, you’ll get 0% refund.
Less than 14 days before the stay, you’ll get 50% refund.
Less than 30 days before the stay, you’ll get 75% refund.
More than 30 days before the stay, you’ll get 100% refund.
Short-Term vs. Long-Term Stays
Please note that each property may have two separate cancellation policies — one for short-term stays (2 nights or fewer) and another for long-term stays (more than 2 nights). For example, a property may apply a Moderate policy for a weekend stay and a Strict policy for a week-long booking.
